How much will my tattoo cost
Price usually depends on your overall design ideas, Depending on the size of your design it will either be a set price (usually for under pieces under 2.5 hours) or by the £70 hourly rate (pieces over 2.5 hours). Feel free to get in touch for a estimate on your designs.
How long do tattoos take?
Tattoos can take anywhere between 10 minutes and 40+ Hours, It usually depends on the size and placement of your design. Keep in mind that body placement can drastically change the time needed for each tattoo, places like the ribs, stomach, lower back require longer as the skin stretches more in those areas. Get in touch to discuss how much time your tattoo will require.
Do I have to bring you a design or do you create one for me?
As far as bringing designs to us goes, We do not copy other tattoos or other artists designs (unless we have written consent from the artist to say this is allowed), so therefore we like to create bespoke designs specifically for clients. Using artwork for ideas and references is totally acceptable and we enjoy when clients present us with reference images to work from and get more of a feel for the ideas they're after along with some artistic freedom to be able to come up with the best design for you.
Will you tattoo someone under 18 years old with parental permission
No, It is Illegal to do so.
Can I bring a friend to the appointment?
Usually this would be no problem however as we are just coming out of a pandemic we ask that people come to their tattoo appointment alone. Hopefully this rule will be lifted soon.
Can I use numbing cream?
Here at BSC we do not mind people using numbing cream however we do ask that you make your artist aware if you do plan on using it. Numbing cream needs to be applied usually a hour beforehand and needs to be wrapped so its airtight for it to work. Always follow the instructions on the label and do a patch test beforehand if needed
What should I wear to my tattoo session?
We recommend comfortable loose clothing that you will be able to sit comfortably in. Making sure that the place you're going to be getting tattooed will be easily exposed and comfortable for the session.
Should I keep my tattoo out of the sun?
Absolutely. The sun damaged the layers of your skin. Always if possible keep it out of the sun while healing, then once healed, use a high factor suncream on your tattoos
