If you've already discussed with your artist on what design you're going for, you can use the booking page to access the online booking system.(www.bearskincollective.co.uk/bookin) If you haven't spoken to an artist, use the submissions form (www.bearskincollective.co.uk/bookin)on the booking in page.
We are a private, appointment only studio and don't offer walk-ins.
Due to travel commitments, Jodie often works as and when she's in the country, so be sure to book in advance if you're after a specific date. Average waiting time for appointments on the week days at 10am-5pm in 3 -6 weeks, for a weekend and evening appointment it can be 6-8 weeks. Jodie often opens up new times and dates on the booking system (www.bearskincollective.co.uk/bookin)depending on her travel plans so be sure to keep checking the system.
Yes, a non refundable deposit of £50 is required to make an appointment that comes off your final session. If you're having multiple sessions then we do a rolling deposit. Consultations are free. You can pay the deposit via bank transfer or Paypal on the book in (www.bearskincollective.co.uk)page
Ofcourse! We understand that life happens and things change, so we get you might need to re-arrange or cancel your appointment, all we ask if you give us as much notice as possible.
providing you re arrange 72 hours of your appointment then you can transfer your deposit over to your new appointment. If you cancel with in 72 hours of your appointment the deposit is not able to be transferred over.
stay hydrated, get plenty of sleep, and eat a substantial meal the day before and before your appointment. Avoid anything that can make your physical wellness fluctuate (like drugs, alcohol, intense exercise) for at least 24 hours prior, the better mental and physical condition you are in really helps with pain management.
You can if you'd prefer, but try not to damage the skin as it might hinder the tattoo process.
We can shave the area for you - p.s you never feel ashamed of you body hair!
It's advised not to just to get the most out of your sessions, however if you require someone to join you just let your artist know beforehand so they can prepare the studio space.

Totally, our resident artist Jodie Bear specialises in coverups. The main thing to remember when thinking about a design to cover something is, Think about what you want, not what you think will cover it. It's the artists job to come up with ideas to help you not regret your design for a 2nd time! so long as you're flexible with the design and composition, there's a good to fair chance we can cover it.
Yes, If there isn't a style that your artist is comfortable with, they will recommend and another artist.
This all depends on what the design, size and body position.
Jodie doesn't run on hourly rate the prices are price per piece if they're under a half day, otherwise prices are as follows.
Minimum setup fee - £70
Half day session - £300
Full day session - £600
Yes, We accept cash, card and bank transfer.
